How to Reduce Shipping Cost

Why are the Shipping Charges so much?
Beginning in 2020, whether the box weighs 1 lb or 9 lbs. the shipping cost is anywhere from $23 - $37, depending on your zip code. Delivering a box that weighs from 1-8 lbs costs the same as delivering a 9 lb box.

In other words, shipping carriers can't deliver a box for less than $23 - $37 which is the cost to ship 9 lbs.
Does 1 Gallon meet the 9 lb minimum?
YES, it does! However, you can add 2 quarts or 1 quart & 2 pints to the order without increasing the shipping cost more than $3.00 - $7.00.
What if I only want 1 pint or 1 quart?
If you want to avoid the minimum $23 - $37 charge, you can find pint and quart sizes listed on eBay. The shipping is calculated using eBay discounted USPS rates.

As an example, (at the time of this writing) the cost eBay charges to ship 1 or 2 pints is from $7.44 to $13.52 and the cost to ship 1 or 2 quarts is from $8.01 to $14.31 depending on your zip code.

Ordering 2 pints or 2 quarts or 1 pint and 1 quart is the best option for smaller orders because the shipping cost is the same. If you don't see the product you want, use the Contact form and let us know.
Bottom-Line - What else can I do?
The best way to find the lowest shipping cost is by adding and deleting items in your shopping cart. When you change the quantity, be sure to click Update. To delete an item, put zero in the quantity, then click remove. The shipping cost will either stay the same or go up and down incrementally.

You may be surprised to find out how little the cost goes up as you add more items. Remember, Buffing Pads, Brushes, and Accessories are shipped free with your order! In the end, YOU decide what you want to pay for shipping based on the number of items you order.

Automobile Detailing

Do I need a garage to effectively detail my car?
No, most self-service car washes have vacuum stations and pressure wash hoses. Bring your own supplies like wash mitts, towels, glass cleaner and shampoo for best results.
How do I clean the headliner without causing damage?
Use diluted all-purpose cleaner and gently agitate stains using a soft brush. Blot with microfiber towels instead of scrubbing to prevent detaching the fabric.
What is the best way to dry carpets after cleaning?
Try not to soak carpets with cleaner and water. Using products made for cleaning carpet and floor mats will leave carpet damp, not wet. These products are formulated so that using the foam with a brush and wiping is all you need.

If you do get the carpet wet, use a fan to create airflow inside the vehicle and leave windows half way open for at least 8 hours to prevent mold and odors.
How often should I wax my car?
Typically every 3 months. However, washing your car and applying Anti-Static Showroom Conditioner every 2 weeks will maintain protection and shine for up to 6 months or longer depending on environmental conditions.
Can I use water to clean my engine bay?
Yes, when the engine is cool and after sentitive components are covered. Use the appropriate engine degreaser and gently rinse to avoid damage.

Interior Detailing

Do I need a steamer or extractor to professionally detail interiors?
Not unless you are in the business of detailing cars. If you want professional results, using the right products and techniques is more important than expensive equipment.
Is leather cleaner or conditioner really necessary for protecting leather seats?
After 5 years, the drivers seat will most likely need it, but the significantly less used passenger and rear seats may not. Using the Worlds Finest Leather Conditioner sparingly will safely clean and condition leather interiors.
Can I use the same cleaner for all interior surfaces?
Yes. Use high-quality all-purpose cleaner diluted properly to effectivelly clean all interior surfaces with one exceptionr. Vehicles older than 5 years with leather interiors should be cleaned and conditioned with products made for use on leather.
How can I avoid streaks when cleaning windows inside the car?
Drape a towel across the windshield to block direct sunlight and use any of these ammonia-free glass cleaners on cool windows. This stops the cleaner from drying too fast, leaving streaks. Using Anti-Static Showroom Conditioner on windows inside and out will remove any left over water spots and keep your windows clean and shiny longer.
Do I need to replace towels when cleaning different surfaces?
Yes, using different towels prevents cross-contamination. Detail shops use specific towel colors for specific areas of the vehicle. Black towels for wheels and engine bays. Blue for inside and outside windows, orange for interior cleaning, yellow for interior wiping, etc.
